Trilogy Agency’s VIBE Project, Eligibility and Selection Guidelines

More households and families to qualify for a VIBE Home Makeover during our inaugural project in Tampa Bay!


A very different eligibility model is used to offer a greater chance at a beautiful VIBE makeover or renovation, as compared to those offered by nonprofit organizations, government-subsidized programs, and social service agencies.


A more relaxed, unique qualification and selection approach allows more bay area households to qualify for the VIBE 2026-27 project series.



Because VIBE relies on the private and corporate sector for funding, we are not governed by the more strict scoring model used by others. The stunning improvements made to our selected VIBE homes are provided, or made possible, by our partners.


Anchor partners provide substantial financial resources and employee volunteerism; design and general contractor partners provide design and renovation management; showcase partners provide home-related products, installations, and warranties; and supporting contributors provide final ‘pieces to the puzzle’ to make the house, a home.


Our private-sector funding sources allow for broader qualification and selection process. Our proprietary model includes a more liberal household income guideline.


To be considered, we prefer nominated household incomes to be under 300% of Federal HHS Poverty Guidelines, based on the most recently published 2025 table. Note the term ‘prefer’. It is important to understand that ‘household income’ is a guideline, not a restriction.


The established guidelines for household income for a family of four would be $96,450. Although these guidelines are certainly preferred, we would consider a nominated household whose family income exceeds the threshold, if other factors and issues are present.


Other conditions may include, but not be limited to: 1) a primary member of the household is included in one of our ‘special consideration’ focused areas for our inaugural project (families with ‘special circumstances’ children, nurses, health-care workers, teachers and educators, military households), 2) health-related concerns for one or more family members, 3) age and condition of home prior to renovation, and 4) feasibility of home improvements based on the VIBE platform.


These conditions should make it easier for more families to qualify for a home makeover or renovation, versus the more strict, traditional scoring models. In essence, the household income guideline provides starting parameters to perhaps fulfill a more compelling need. The additional considerations may better complete the story.


The makeovers and renovations are completed following an exhaustive search for the most deserving families in the bay area. Our inaugural VIBE Home Makeover projects will be produced in Tampa Bay in 2026-27.


Five families will receive home makeovers during our first year.


Four recipients will receive the Select Editions with six or more major improvements and a selection of finishing touches.


One recipient will receive the Flagship Edition renovation, an extensive interior and exterior transformation with 18 or more major upgrades and an array of home décor finishing touches. 


For all VIBE Home Makeovers, the families must reside in the home to be renovated.


Applicants for the Select Series can own or rent their home, and must live in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Polk, Manatee, or Sarasota county.


Applicants for the Flagship Series renovation must own their home, and live in the Tampa Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) which includes Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando counties.


To nominate yourself, or someone in need, visit the VIBE Home Makeover website (www.VibeHomeMakeover.com) and request a Nomination Form. Share the story about why the family or person you are nominating would be a good candidate. 


If the nominee is determined to be a viable candidate for a makeover, they will be asked to complete a full application at a later date.
